SEA LIFE Grapevine Aquarium

The SEA LIFE Grapevine Aquarium, located approximately 20 miles south of Corinth, is a must-see for people of all ages and interests. Please stop by any time between the hours of 10 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. Saturday, and 11 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. Sunday.

The cost of admission is $17.99 per person, but children under the age of three are admitted free. If you enjoyed your visit and believe you will return a few more times throughout the year, consider becoming a member. For only $74.99 per year, you can enjoy unlimited visits as well as a 40-percent discount on tickets for your friends and family members who come with you.

The only 360-degree ocean tunnel in the state may be found at this aquarium. Visitors can go beneath the surface of the water and watch as sea turtles, brightly colored fish, and other wildlife swim over their heads and all around them.

Stone Creek Park, located about 12 miles south of the city center, is a terrific place to enjoy the great outdoors in the Corinth area. Walking trails, fields, and a playground are all available at this creek-side park, making it an ideal destination for anyone looking to go out and enjoy the great outdoors.

Traveling west on the paths for about a half-mile will bring you to the John Thomas Wildflower Preserve. By taking advantage of some of the fitness equipment located along the walking routes, you may combine discovery with physical activity. Stone Creek Park does not charge an entrance fee, and it is available to the public from sunrise to dark every day of the year. The Purple Coneflower route is one of the best in Lawson State Park. Located within Stone Creek Park, this walk follows down the creek and provides numerous opportunities to play in the creek, pick flowers, and engage with other forest animals. The Purple Coneflower route is paved and easily accessible by wheelchair. It's also extremely flat, making it ideal for activities such as riding, walking, running, and dog walking.

Lewisville Lake Environmental Learning Area

Explore the Lewisville Lake Environmental Learning Area, which is located on the southern bank of Lewisville Lake, only 9 miles south of Corinth (LLELA). This lovely natural preserve offers a variety of outdoor activities such as kayaking, hiking, bird viewing, camping, and other activities.

If you're searching for something more structured, consider signing up for a guided kayak excursion or an art boat tour. When participating in the art boat excursion, kayakers will set out on the river with painting equipment in hand, pick a spot to relax, and attempt to paint their surroundings while still in the boat.

LLELA offers a lot of activities both day and night. In the evening you can enjoy a campfire, go on a bird walk or join in on a tour of our Minor-Porter Log House. It was built in 1869 and houses a variety of interesting artifacts from that era.

Primitive campsites are available all around the area for a fun weekend or a few days of roughing it in the great outdoors. Campsites are only $10 per night. Camping is permitted all year round at this location.
