Located in Denton County in Texas, United States, Roanoke is a component of the Dallas–Fort Worth Metropolitan Statistical Area - west of Corinth. At the time of the 2010 census, the population was 5,962. There is a little section of the city that stretches into Tarrant. As a result, it has been dubbed "The Unique Dining Capital of Texas."
