Colleyville is a city in northeastern Tarrant County, Texas, in the United States. It is centrally located in the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex and has a population of approximately 60,000 people - more than Corinth.
The city is located in the Mid-Cities suburban region between Dallas and Fort Worth, approximately 3.5 miles west of Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport and in the Mid-Cities metropolitan area. At the time of the 2010 census, the population was 22,807 people.
When Dr. Lilburn Howard Colley established Colleyville in 1880, it was known as Bransford because it was formed from a series of small, rural towns along the Cotton Belt Route.
He was a well-known physician in the neighborhood, as well as a veteran of the Union Army. When Walter G. Couch opened a grocery store near Dr. Colley's home in 1914, the community was christened Colleyville in honor of the doctor who had founded it.
Approximately 22,807 people, 7,913 households, and 7,001 families were found to be living in the city as of the 2010 census. According to the census, the population density was 1,741.0 persons per square mile.
There were 8,165 housing units at an average density of 623.3 per square mile, for a total of 8,165 dwelling units. There were 88.9 percent white people, 2.0 percent African Americans, 0.5 percent Native Americans, 5.9 percent Asians, 0.0 percent Pacific Islanders, 0.8 percent from other races, and 1.9 percent who were a mix of two or more races in the city.

Hispanic or Latino people of any race accounted for 5.1 percent of the population in 2010. It was estimated that there were 7,913 households, with 40.1 percent having families with children under the age of 18 living with them, 81.6 percent being married couples living together, 2.1 percent having a male householder who was not married, 4.8 percent having a female householder who was not married, and 11.5 percent being non-families, according to the Census Bureau.
Individuals constituted 9.5 percent of all households, with 3.4 percent consisting solely of people 65 years of age or older, according to the Census Bureau. It was found that the average family size was 3.08, and the average household size was 2.88.
It was a diverse population, with 26.5 percent under the age of 18, 5.7 percent between 18 and 24, 16.9 percent between 25 and 44, 40.5 percent between 45 and 64, and 10.4 percent who were 65 years or older in total.
The median age in this group was 45.5 years. There were 98.4 men for every 100 females in the study. For every 100 females aged 18 and over, there were 97.0 males.
