A waterfront property on Lewisville Lake is available for purchase in this community, which is approximately 8 miles south of Corinth. A day use area is located on one side of the park, and nonelectric and RV campsites are located on the other.
A variety of recreational opportunities are available on the day use side of the park, including horseshoe pits, volleyball courts, swimming areas, pathways, and covered picnic sites. Hiking and equestrian riding are both permitted on the paths.
There is a playground with a picnic table and grill on the camping side of the park, in addition to facilities with showers. There are grills, picnic tables, fire rings, and water hookups at each of the campground's ten sites.
Expect to pay a $10 per vehicle day usage fee to enter Pilot Knoll Park if you plan to camp there. The cost of camping for one night is $25 per person. Consider getting an annual pass for $35 if you intend to visit the park on a regular basis.
The Poindexter and Hickory Creek Trail Equestrian Paths are two of the hiking and equestrian trails available in this area. Pilot Knoll Park, located in Highland Village, is a picturesque park that borders Lake Lewisville.
